I love this. I don't know how many thousands, quite literally, of times I have heard this and I never tire of it. It precedes the late night Shipping Forecast on Radio 4 every night. It's by Ronald Binge - not a household name, but on the strength of this waltz alone a great composer. The Shipping Forecast is itself abstract poetry.
